Objectives: In this study influence of adnexectomy of women in premenopausal stage with supracervical laparoscopic hysterectomy on occurrence of menopausal symptoms were analysed.
Materials and methods: 30 woman in age of 45–48 years in premenopausal stage who were operated because of uterine myomas (laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy) were examinated. In 16 (I group) of them ovaries were removed, in 14 patients (II group) ovaries were not removed. Intensification of menopausal symptoms were evaluated using Green score before operation, one month, six months and one year after operation. Results: After one year from operation menopausal symptoms in 28% of group II and 81% of group I were observed. Conclusion: Range of laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy with adnexectomy of women in premenopausal stage has influence on acceleration of occurrence of menopausal symptoms. keywords:
